Sean Walker
A qualified Osteopath, Sean graduated with an Integrated master’s degree from the renowned European School of Osteopathy. He founded Resolution Clinic (formerly Body Balance Osteopathy) in 2015.
Sean takes a holistic, evidence based approach to treating patients to ultimately speed up recovery. He believes that to manage pain, you must first understand it. That’s why he takes the time to understand your pain or injury and how it is affecting you, so that he can work with you to determine the best treatment to get you back to living your active life quickly and safely.
At 17, Sean suffered a catastrophic hamstring injury during a game of rugby. Despite the severity of his injury, he struggled to access the rehabilitative care he needed. Refusing to accept his injury as permanent, he embarked upon a lifelong learning programme to self-manage pain and injury.
Sean’s hamstring eventually healed, but the seed had been planted. Using information gleaned from his studies and ongoing research, he developed a holistic approach to pain quite different to many in his field. Sean uses this knowledge and experience to help others reclaim their lives from pain and injury.
He has a strong sporting background, has played for Hertfordshire Rugby, and is a keen golfer.
Something you may not know about Sean is that he plays the Great Highland bagpipe and was a member of the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland. He has had the honour of playing the bagpipes for HRH The Queen at Balmoral with the Massed bands of Royal Air Force and is the former Pipe Major of the RAF Halton Pipes & Drums in Buckinghamshire. Sean currently competes with St. Laurence O’Toole Pipe Band in Grade 1, the highest level of bagpipe competition
